How We Work
Probably the best reason to choose Griggs is that we have made it our mission to make your remodeling experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
We've learned how to do this over the years working on every conceivable type of project. The secrets to our success are: good communication; always do what we say we will; and know that the project is not over until you are completely satisfied with our work. We think that's why over half of our new work comes from past customers, or their friends.
We look forward to getting to know you, and are happy to provide a long list of references. We bet there is someone you know on our list!
Visit Our Showroom
We're happy to come to you but you can also relax and enjoy your project planning in the comfort of our design center. It's brimming with material samples and gives you a chance to see some of the latest design features available.
Our low-stress, high-quality work process
Brainstorm Meeting
We begin by meeting with you in your home, or at our showroom to discuss ideas. Here we'll gather your thoughts, needs, wants and formulate a wish list from A through Z. We'll offer some ideas to help you, as well as be able to tell you what can or can't be done. Bring samples or photos of things you've seen that you like and we'll help bring it together.
Budget Estimate
Next we'll provide a preliminary budget estimate with an itemized breakdown. We'll revise the plan and budget as needed until you're comfortable with what we propose.
Concept Sketch
After we agree on the budget and direction, we'll create a sketch that shows the layout of the finished project. We'll also suggest some materials or finishes at this stage based on ideas you've provided and offer some creative design ideas of our own.
Detailed Plan
If you like what you see and are ready to move forward, we'll get together with you to discuss each part of the project in complete detail, so we're all on the same page. We'll provide a revised proposal that includes any changes, then once approved we'll schedule your project.
Construction Phase
Your project manager will be with you throughout the entire construction process, answering questions, managing the schedule and facilitating any changes you might like to make.
Final Walk-Through
As your project is being completed, we'll walk through with you and create a list of things we need to do to make sure you're 100% satisfied. We strive to make each opportunity the start of a long-term relationship.
